Hook’s annual Carols around the Christmas Tree was once again well attended. The children took a candlelit walk from school singing carols, finishing at the Memorial Hall to continue with their festive tunes as the village tree lights were switched on. Father Christmas made an appearance, and the hall was packed with villagers buying raffle tickets from the Parish Council and goodies from the newly-formed P.T.F.A.
An amazing £ was raised by the Parish Council and donated to school funds, which was boosted by a further £ donated by the P.T.F.A. The school are extremely grateful to the Parish Council, P.T.F.A., villagers and of course the children for all their support!
