Class 1 – Tuesday 9th February

Unfortunately, on Tuesday 9th February the number of requests for places in school has exceeded the amount permitted under our risk assessment for Class 1 that day (15 children).

We therefore regrettably have to ask our Class 1 families to reconsider if their child’s place in school is absolutely unavoidable, or whether alternative arrangements for childcare could be organised for that day.

What you need to do – RESPONSE REQUIRED

Please email office@hookprimary.co.uk by 12 noon Friday 5th February to let us know whether you can make alternative arrangements, or whether you still require a place on Tuesday.

If unfortunately the number of requests cannot be reduced, the school will have to implement a priority system for allocation on that day to the maximum of 15 children.

As the number of families making requests continues to rise, we regret that it is likely that this situation may happen again and therefore we urge all families to carefully consider whether the use of school provision is unavoidable. We would of course love to see all our children in school, but until such a time as restrictions are lifted, we are in a very difficult position.

If you have any queries about the above, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
