What a fantastic World Book Day we have had!
The children looked amazing in their costumes, and some of the teachers joined in too! We are so impressed with the effort everyone went to. In assembly, the children saw all the entries for the Bookworm Snapshot competition where they had to send in a photo of reading in an unusal place. Winners were selected from each class. Afterwards there was the costime parade and winners chosen for the favourite ones.
The School Council also held a Preloved Book Sale between Tuesday and Thursday, and raised an incredible £322! We would like to say a big thank you to them for the hard work they put into making it such a success.
Between 7th and 14th March, Scholastic Book Fayre will be in school and children can spend their book token there.
