Year 1 – Phonics Screening Check

You may be aware that your child will take part in a Phonics screening check in the Summer Term of Year One. The check is statutory and involves assessing the children on their ability to decode certain words.

On Wednesday 29th March at 3:30pm we would like to invite adults into school for a short meeting on how the check will be delivered, how we support your child in school and what you can do at home to further support them. Children are welcome to stay in school while we meet with their adults.
