Dear Parents

 

As you may have heard, Class 1’s topic this term is based on the wonderful bear from deepest darkest Peru, Paddington! As part of the topic, we will be having a Teddy Bears Picnic on Wednesday 8th March at 1.30pm either on the school field (weather permitting) or in the hall.

We would love your child to bring their favourite teddy to the picnic, but not only that a member of their family too! If your child has a sibling under school age, they can also join in. You should have received a handwritten invitation from your child this week asking you to come along.

 

Please feel free to bring a blanket to sit on, and any pre-packed sweet or savoury treats eg: sausage rolls, crisps or biscuits to accompany the marmalade sandwiches the children will be making for the picnic.

 

We can’t wait to see you and your child’s favourite teddy on 8th March!
