In Class 3 maths this week we are looking at measuring length. We have started using standard and non-standard units to measure the environment around us, and objects in our classroom. We have had to work independently, or with a partner, to complete the different challenges. We have used rulers and tape measure to measure a variety of lines and then we have compared these with how many multilink it would take to make the same line.
We discussed together different units of measurement, equipment we would use to measure and which equipment or unit would be most sensible in different situations.
