Class 3 Gymnastics

Class 3 Gymnastics

This week Class 3 amazed Mrs Bainton with their gymnastics skills. This was our first session using the equipment, and Class 3 really impressed Mrs Bainton with their listening skills, their sensible behaviour and how fantastic they were at following instructions.

For the first session, we focused on exploring the equipment and then building up a routine. We learned how to sit like gymnasts when following instructions before sensibly investigating the different pieces of apparatus Mrs Bainton and Class 3 set out. Slowly, we then discussed holding a balance before getting onto the equipment, before we dismounted, after a jump and then we investigated moving in an interesting way between the pieces. It was a fantastic lesson and we can’t wait to explore even more and larger pieces of apparatus next time.
