Special Educational Needs (SEN)

“Hook School prides itself on its inclusivity; providing education and support for children with a wide variety of educational needs and from a range of different backgrounds. When I walk around school it fills me with joy to see children of all abilities collaboratively working and playing. Due to its small size and open plan layout everyone knows each other very well, adults and children alike. The staff have a very friendly approach and join forces across school to ensure all pupils reach their full potential. We have an open-door policy and parents should always feel like they can discuss anything with us. We will always do our best to support where we can and provide advice for other outlets of support if we feel they are necessary.

The children in our school are very special and I am glad to be in a role which helps support them even further in their education.”
