Your Child’s School Online Account

Each child has had their own unique account set up by Swanland Education Trust to allow them access to the whole range of Microsoft apps, which may be required for online learning and Virtual Meetings/Lessons during the current coronavirus pandemic.

Their account name will look a little something like this:-

18John.Smith@hookprimary.co.uk

Parents will receive a note of their child’s log in details. Once received, you can activate the account and change the password by either:-

  1. Logging in via internet web browser at login.microsoftonline.com; or
  2. Downloading a particular app (e.g. Teams or Word) to a tablet or smart phone and logging in that way.

For the purpose of online learning and Virtual Meetings, we will predominantly be using the Microsoft Teams app. It looks like this:-
