We constantly strive to achieve the best learning environment for our children through innovative teaching methods and an engaging thematic curriculum. Our efforts and commitment have been recognised by various quality compliance bodies, organisations and initiatives.

Our last inspection was in the academic year 2008/2009, where we achieved an OUTSTANDING rating. More details of our Ofsted inspection can be found here.

Healthy Schools aim to support schools to help their children and young people to grow healthily, safely and responsibly.

We are an ‘Investors in Pupils’ school and have had the award since {INSERT DATE}.  The Investors in Pupils programme involves our children in decision making, and developing responsibility and leadership in relation to learning, behaviour, Attendance, Induction and School And Classroom Management.

Pupils learn about how our school is run and, in turn, understand how they themselves can contribute to the running of the school.  Pupils commit to goals and teamwork with each other and the staff.  We work together to make our school a place to be proud of.

Quality Mark is an internationally acknowledged accreditation supporting and recognising improving standards in the provision, practice and performance of English and mathematics, and providing evidence of high-quality education.

The School Games Mark is a government led awards scheme launched in 2012 to reward schools for their commitment to the development of competition across their school and into the community. Participating in this process allows schools to evaluate their PE provision and assists them in developing an action plan for future progress.

We are very proud to have once again achieved GOLD for the year 2018/2019.

Modeshift STARS (Sustainable Travel Accreditation and Recognition for Schools) is a national schools awards scheme that has been established to recognise schools that have demonstrated excellence in supporting cycling, walking and other forms of sustainable travel.

The children and Mrs Watling have worked very hard in order for us to achieve our GOLD award. We have now held this for the last year and continue to work hard in order to achieve the same standards. You can read all about our activity in maintaining our award here.

We are proud members of GASP, a brilliant initiative whereby local Goole schools pool valuable resources to ensure the best sports provision possible for all children. Our children thoroughly enjoy the inter-school competitions, with opportunities to take part in events county – and nationwide.
